possible new forum

Dave, As you know i'm new here as of June 19th this year. I've thoroughly enjoyed every moment of being a Dave's member. I would like to know though what the chances of having a new forum created would be. It appears that most are about gardening or something to do with it but i've noticed a few are non garden related subjects.
Would it be possible to create a forum dealing with Fenton Art Glass and people who collect it? It's very popular collectable galss that is handmade here in the states in West Virginia and I think a lot of the members may enjoy having a forum to discuss it.
Do any of you reading this collect Fenton and would you enjoy having a forum to talk about it?

catsmeow, the Home and Crafts forum is where most of us usually go to discuss stuff that we collect or like as far as stuff like collecting things go. If you were to post there, maybe you could get some responses from people who share the same passion. I like fenton glass, I just never could afford it.......LOL

A similar forum was started for collectors, and there was a rash of posts at first and then it just dwindled down to nothing. I love Fenton, and have a piece or so, but I would be surprised if the focus was here to justify a forum. However, Flowox has steered you in a good direction where you will be able to share yours with us. So will you be posting some photographs for us to drool over?

You know it never crossed my mind to talk about the glass on that forum,but I guess it'll work.

Aimee, i'll try and take some pics of my collection and post them but don't know how well they'll turn out. If you've seen any of the other pics i've posted on Dave's you'll know what I mean. As for the user ID, when I first decided to join here I couldn't think of a name that I wanted to use. As I sat thinking, one of my cats came in the room and started meowing as he does everytime I sit in front of the computer so I said there's my name catsmeow.

Interesting! There have been threads about how members chose their names, and some of you are really spontaneous, some inspired by mythology, some really mysterious. I rate you as spontaneous.

It could have been the cat's pajamas, a saying from my mother when she didn't say cat's meow. Your choice is more modest.

I have a friend asking me about a watercolor forum.
Do you have one ? or do you know of one?
