Well, finally, after an almost 2 year hiatus... I can get back to the beloved Dave's Garden!! Hope there are still some old friends here and am looking forward to making new ones!! I missed this place tremendously!!
And I thank all the notes and cards I still got from all my old friends here!!
Gee, it's good to be home! My roses are going great with the exception of the beetles and all the rain we've had this summer in Maryland.... hey, I've even now learned to grow hydrangeas!! he,he...

I'm Back!
Welcome back from a semi-newcomer in Maryland - where is Cordova?
Welcome home Jeanne. Sure good to see ya. We missed you around here. Can't wait to see some pic's of all your pretty roses. Now fill me in where the heck ya been?
Well, Dea,.. Cordove is on the Eastern Shore of Maryland- between the Chesapeake Bay and the ocean.... near Easton, MD if you know where that is...
Hey Mys!!! Good to be home again.... been REAL busy with the new businesses we started- sarted with one.. now have three and will be opening one in Florida in December/January!! But- HAD to get back to the garden- no fun playing with my roses without someones to report them to!!
Hey Jeanne! Nice to see ya here again!! Don't stay away so long next time. ;)
Promise I won't Seed!!
JSS, as a fellow rose-lover, WB :) I am not an original DGer, but have been here more than a year, and I, too, adore DG! Especially all the wonderful friends that I have made :) Congrats on your businesses, hope they continue to thrive, but take some time for YOU, too! Especially in your rose gardens.
Amen to that, Lupinelover! I get my peace in my garden....
and now when I can't get outside(because of this dreary rain) I can now again go to the next best garden- here!!
Found a great plaque the other day and put it in my window-
"In searching for my mother's garden, I have found my own."
Welcome back good to hear from you.
Thanks Yardbird! Good to see you're still here!
JSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've thought about you so many times! So glad to see you back ((((((((((((())))))))))))))))))!
I think we've grown a bit since you've been gone, but things are as normal as ever!
BTW- Dave and I are expecting our 3rd blessing the beginning of Sept :)
Now, stay put this time :)
Hugs,
Trish
Welcome back JSS!! I bet you can't believe all the changes that Dave (and CO.) have done to DG!!!!!
sue
The changes look great- but Dave's is still the same very special place, Sue!!
And TRISH!!! I've been thinking you you and Dave all the time!!! And keeping you both and family and this site in my prayers the whole time!!! Thanks for the special ((((()))))
IT means a lot!!
Also, what a wonderful blessing- I'll keep you in my prayers and know that God will give you peace throughout!! Keep us informed of the special day!!! Another arrow in Dave's quiver, huh?????
Thank you kindly, Whiterose!!! And what a great name! I just love your art of Colorado- I grew up in New Mexico!
JSS, Trish didn't mention that they are now back in God's Country, the Texas Hill Country. I thought maybe she forgot so wanted to toss it out. I like knowing they chose Texas.
Congratulations on the business successes. And welcome back.
Jeanne Sue......I don't know how many times I've said this already and I still can't get over the wonderful surprise when you 'resurfaced' but it is really so wonderful to have you return to us and I missed you in the rose forum. So, welcome back dear friend and don't go off like that again!! lol........ Now then...about hydrangeas...welcome to another part of my world!! :-)
JSS...saw ya here and there in some threads the past couple days! Just found this one tho, so a big official Howdy, and Welcome Back! τΏτ
Welcome home! There are still quite a few of us old timers around here and LOTS of new and not so new folks, DG just keeps getting better all the time.
Welcome home!
Thanks all!! Gee, it's good to be back home!! he,he,...
And yes,Aimee, I noticed Trish had a different STATE on her listing and was gonna inquire about that!!! God's country- not with the heat and humidity right now!!LOL!! I love Texas, too, but don;t tell E'yes that- she'll expect me to move to!! And I wouldn;t want to have dear Louisa here on the coast all by herself with her....I can;t beleive you remember my nickname, Louisa!! See we are like like, as that's what my dad's part of the familty call me.... will I ever grow out of it??? I doubt it!!!
Now, Trish, just where is Kerrville??? What happend to Ohio, too wet??? Or maybe, she and Dave just wanted that 3rd baby coming to be a cowboy!!!! LOL!!!! They can call him Tex!!!
And Aimee, so good to see you and Shoe a grand hello and Melody and MaryE too!!!
Gee, I'm in the garden two days in a row???? See I'm really back!!! So, there , my dear friend Louisa!
Hi JSS and welcome home!
JSS; sounds like yer a very popular DG member! Most follks that have welcomed you back are also ones that "aggravate" this ol Kentucky Hillbilly now and again (ain't that right shoe).
Anywhoo,
I'll add my welcome back here too! I aint't nuttin but "an old man a young gardener".
I've been at DG for two years so we may have crossed paths when you were here before. Welcome Home and I'm glad you're back!
Thank you all! I'm glad to gee the Garden is still that bery special place! If anyone would like any of my Japanese beetles, let me know... I can send you plenty!! LOL!!
