Gardening quotes

Mount Angel, OR(Zone 8a)

In the last few days, Dave, there have been some great quotes. Today's from Anne Frank is especially good and somehow strikes me so profoundly. Looking at the adversity in her life and what she had to endure and she could still look at the natural world and find good. This is wonderful and a lesson for me and us all. Thanks,Dave.

I'm glad that you liked this and other quotes. I think they are a fun way to start your day. :)

BTW - the thanks goes to Terry. She is the one who compiled at least 99% of those quotes. Thanks Terry!

You can see all the quotes from the Extras section of the menu, if you feel like spoiling your surprise. :)

I too really like the quotes, and is really a good way to start the time with DG. Donna

Thanks Terry, no I think I will wait for each day.

Aw shucks (scuffing my shoe toe in the dirt). I did it for selfish reasons - I enjoy reading the newsletter quote like everybody else. (And truth be told, for a while Dave was "stuck in a rut" and we had the same quote for ...well, let's just say "a while" :o)

Out of desperation, I volunteered to compile some new quotes, and I think we ended up with close to 700 quotes, which is nice because they don't seem to repeat themselves too frquently. (What I REALLY need to do again, is go set the dates for some that are particularly fitting for a special date on the calendar.)

In the meantime, I'm glad to hear others enjoy them, too! Unless I've specified them, they're randomly selected each day, so I get to be surprised just like everybody else.
