Just a thought butterfly. You gotta admit it would be awesome though. Does you liner not screw into the biofall?
Your Pond Pictures, Please!!!!
Yes, the liner screws into the biofalls. I've already had leaking problems around the biofalls and don't want to mess with it. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" is my philosophy on this one! I surely would love to have the waterfall up higher now...on the next pond :)
Weslemkoon, I love your pond! Are those gladiolus behind there blooming? I sure wish I could get those to grow here. Glads, bearded iris, and peonies are some of my favorite plants, but it's too hot here in FL for them. I tried glads once but they are pretty much annuals here at best--at least for me. I'm not good at going out and fertilizing everything all the time. My plants have to thrive on a little bit of neglect.
In our zone, weslemkoon, you'd better bring in the
waterlilies as well. They won't make it at that depth.
They will need to go into cool/cold storage that stays
above freezing.
Welcome to Daves getrich! What a nice pond you have!
Rootdoctor ..thanks.The others are great too.
Be still...my beating heart!! Love the Lotus.
Mavis, that is beautiful! How large is it?
Gorgeous! Can we see another pic of it?
tortoisekeeper, what are those wonderful round leaves that stick up above the water?
Oh my, I would like to know too! Great pond Tortoise.
Wow! They are all gorgeous and a great inspiration for next year. Pond is definitely on the do to and add list for the spring.
They are gorgeous aren't they :~)

Its absolutely lovely - small is indeed beautiful.
Nice!!!
Tropicman what are the "ferny" looking plants at the
front of your pond?
Hi Lil,
I knew some one would ask me that!LOL
Well I found out it wasn't hardy here, first hard freeze, turn it into mush.
If I recall the tag said it was Neptunia aquatica or something like that,I bought it from a nursery, that they had gotten by mistake, didn't know anything about,
I put it in the pond and excelerated like crazy,it flowered
little yellow flowers,I hope to find some again.
I like the look of it...will have to see if someone in
Canada supplies it :)
Tropicman and all,
that fern is really beautiful. Tis a shame you lost it but...I think we all need heated hoop houses for all these wonderful tropicals. Your deck looks full of tropical plants too.
The company I wholesale from has something that looks similiar. I wanted to place the photo here to see if it is the same. I would love to have lots of that and also to sell some to our customers. I had no idea it was so lovely.

I forgot to give the information on it...
Aeschynomene fluitans, Giant Sensitive Ferm
6" to 10" - Flowers August, September - Similar to Neptunia aquatica but much larger and faster spreading. Yellow Sweetpea-like flowers. Foliage closes slowly when touched.
Tropical....Hardy to Zone 8.
Stephanie
I have had Sensitive in my pond a couple times. My goldfish eat the roots on it til it dies. I really did like that plant tho. (They eat those $30.00 water lilies too)
So now I replenish my pond plants from clean canals. And I feed my goldfish more often.
Hi Step,
Yes the flowers are the same, but I think the leaf on my foliage is just a little bit longer, would love to get some more or even the Aeschynomene fluitans would be just as nice too.Do you know a place that sells online for it?
rikerbear your pond is very natural looking...I like it...
and the little stream :)
Thanks Lilypon :-)
