How do I check back on messages that I have answered?

Nashua, NH(Zone 5b)

I answered a message earlier and I want to go back to that thread. How do I check back on that?
How do you also manage threads that are on your watched list?

Unless you can recall where it was, you're going to search through the possibilities. But for future reference, when you post to one, you can click on "Watch this thread" and then it will come up on your opening DG page above the lists of forums.

The bad thing is, it only shows up if someone posted something new :(
Wonder if there's a way to have it show up regardless. It's very time consuming to try to find a thread after no one posted for awhile and sometimes you just can't find it no matter how long you look

Giorio, you can search for your name in the Search link. Fortunately, since you haven't posted much yet, there were only six results: http://davesgarden.com/search/index.php?forum=&search_text=Giorio&limit=0&Search=Search

Once you find the thread you're looking for, you'll see a link to "watch this thread" at the top - click on it, and you'll see a notice whenever someone posts to it.

You can also see all your watched threads by going to your member page (first link under "About You") whether they have a new post or not.

That last is something I'd overlooked Terry. Very useful thanks.
I had a shock though - I'm watching 2141 threads LOL, but they are listed in order of the most recently active first, so that's really helpful :)

That'll be the way to do it Giorio, and you shouldn't have as many as that - yet...

LOL 2141 watched threads Phil? I am afraid to look at mine now.

Yes, took quite a while to load and show me ;)

I'll leave them though - it's always fun when one from way back pops up again
