I was disapointed to learn they will not ship these plants to WA. I have sent an e-mail to the company, but I am seeing more and more of this. It is discouraging!

Lots of states have lists of plants that cannot be shipped into the state from other places. Sometimes it's because of insects or disease that these plants are known to harbor(like nematodes) that could damage agricultural or native crops in the area. Sometimes it's because the plant can be invasive like gingers and passifloras in Hawaii or certain colocasias in Florida. They crowd out native plants and damage ecosystems.
Yes, that certainly makes sense. It is just frustrating to want something you can't order! :-D
I still have much to learn. I will try to find WA state agricultural (do's and don'ts) info. Must be a list there, I'm sure.
