Finally made a decision...

Bra-less for the most part and barefooted unless decorum and decency come into the picture!! I mean...couldn't turn up at church looking like an old hussy!! lol!! Sandals for the garden, shorts and T.

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Oh how I wish I could go bra-less in this heat! I would scare my family if I did though. LOL

I have to wear long pants in the summer here because our area has wayyyy too many mosquitoes for shorts. Or I would be in shorts too. When I come in for the evening off go the jeans and on go the shorts. Sleep in a tank top most nights in summer and tshirt in winter.

Holland, MI(Zone 6a)

I have a gardening friend at church, and when we see each other we compare our fingernails to see who has been digging in the dirt more. She is a master gardener and is very generous with ideas.

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

lol Birdsall. I keep my nails really short so they are easier to wash under. Never use nail polish because it just gets nicked off in minutes anyway.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I don't much bother with makeup because it ends up being wiped off with the sweat - no a/c in the cars anymore! When I do use it, a powder-to-foundation oil-controlling make-up is all I tend to us, maybe a little blush, lip gloss...If I'm really adventurous, eye shadow!

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

LOL GW I don't even wear bangs because of the sweat making it look greasy. I can't see to put on the eye shadow and we also don't have A/C in our car or trucks. Never wear lip gloss unless Natural Ice is considered lip gloss and my powder is dust chased around by the wind.

Well look here darius - you started something!! From house selling to fashion and makeup in one easy lesson....lolol!!!!

Yeah, Margaret. I think it's a hoot, and I love it!

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

That's what I thought too!! Certainly passes the time whilst you are waiting for those potential buyers!! :-)

Tiller, OR(Zone 8a)

Ahhhhhhh, love this thread! I worked for the public most of my life, so suffered the discomforts of so called "proper" dress. Since my disability came about and I now live in the country, I only have to please myself. ;-) It's jeans and t-shirts for me, (no shorts, I have small affectionate dogs that jump on me)and the miserably uncomfortable bra is gone. So is the make-up and the hour spent every morning on the hair. I feel sooo much better!
Comfort is the only way to go.

Darius - How did your open house go?

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

No Open House yet, probably not for another couple of weeks at least. A lovely oversize (but still small) ad comes out in one of the freebie housing for sale magazines this Thursday.

Holland, MI(Zone 6a)

You have my best wishes for a good sale, and a wonderful new location that has rich soil.

Thanks, Fred.
