You hit the nail on the head, Shirley and I think you are correct. The ones that are green come from blossoms that seemed to stay on a very long time are the green ones. The white buds look just like the green and the blossoms fell off quicker than the others. I know one thing, I've totally stopped picking off the spent blossoms - I cannot wait to see if I really get a seed pod!!! Thanks!!!
