another Rosamond x L'amour

Hamilton, Canada

Did you say "THIRD FLUSH"? I'm going to have to have a VERY SERIOUS TALK WITH MY BRUGS...lol.

Now I see why so many of them get culled. One flush a year isn't a good plant!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Hey Tracey, don't mean to be pushy, but I never got an answer unless I missed it. When were these started and how long did it take them to bloom? I figure I can double that and get an idea of when to expect blooms. LOL

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Chele, I think she started these in February.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Thanks Susie! That means mine oughta Y and bloom about 2005. LOL

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Tracey, I commend you on being so selective before naming your seedlings. There are so many look-alikes out there and even though this one does not look like any other, you are still waiting to see if it has attributes that excel other seedlings of the same group, i.e. heat tolerant and bug resistant. These traits are equally important to beauty. Thank you for keeping your standards high.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I am planning to name my own very first one even if it looks like a dandelion! I know I am not supposed to but I will be so excited! I will be like a true mother, and only see pure beauty like the world has never seen before! I can't wait! LOL

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

I'm with you, Kell!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Tracey, i agree with Lisa, you are doing good. with all those hundreds of seeds of this cross out there, there will be tons of beautiful, great blooming plants it seems like. if everyone names a couple there'll be a worse ID problem than with FP. You sure are doing a great job with those seedlings, glad you have so many good crosses.
my first one from my own hand pollinated cross is budding up, hope it will be a good one. kyles pink x butterfly and i am hoping for a yellow throw back.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I am sorry I missed that question Chele, I did start them the last part of Feb., but I cheated, I waited till I went back to work at the greenhouse so they would have consistant heat. Then with the Mother's Day rush it took me forever to get them repotted, they stayed forever in a 1 gallom pot. I was litterally watering them three times a day back May. So I guess in a since I was force feeding them as Kell pointed out. With all the success I have had this year with this method, I will do it again with the next batch.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Wow Tracey. Can you spare a cutting in the fall???

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

No problem Tracey, just wanted to know how much of a jump you had on me! LOL I cannot remember if these were in my first or last batch started. They came up in two weeks or less and are about six inches tall. I guess I will be wintering them. ha ha ha

Woodburn, OR(Zone 8a)

Oh!!!!!! that is just amazing! I'd be the happiest woman in the world to see that in my garden!! if there's a chance to get a cutting or seeds, please please, let me know!
(my apologies for the shameless begging, but I can't stop looking at this one!)

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

With all that I have already promised from this one if I have anymore I will post them, I promise. She is real small (3 1/2') so there won't be alot of cuttings but I will share what I have.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

I would love to get on that list. That is just unbelievable.
