Tracey and Susie,
That is another beauty!!!!
WOW! Are you guys good! Susie, better take Tracey with you to Tx. She can just grow your seedlings.
OMG!!! That is gorgeous. Better hide that one from CC when she's making that trip to raid Kell's garden or it will be gone!
I think I'll just send all my seeds to Tracey, whatever she is doing sure is working!
Another beauty. Tracey, all my seedlings were mailed to you yesterday. Hope you have room for another 50 - 100. Grow them up big and quick for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
Larry
Tracey is that darker than L'Amour grows at your house? It also looks bigger than L'Amour. I just pollinated another 6 Rosamond blooms with L'Amour last night. You will have to grow some out for me also.......LOL!
Ick! That is awful! I am going to send you my addy so you can get that monstrosity out of your yard! LOL LOL It is absolutely gorgeous!! When did you start your seeds??? I don't guess I'll see any blooms out of mine til next year, hopefully not later. I'll just say WOW!!!
wow is right. you sure have some beauties.
Is this the one with the piggytail tendrils that you were talking about? It is so pretty!
Susie, picture this as a double! So Tracey are you using this pollen and pollinating all those blooms I see?
Dang that is awesome!!!
Oh Tracey, another breathtaking bloom. I think I am ready to plan a trip to your house . . are you going to be out of town any time soon??? LOL I could not sleep at night if I ever got blooms like you have been getting.
Absolutely beautiful!
Holy Cow!! That is such a beautiful bloom. Tracey, you are doing a great job with the seedlings, but this one has to top the list. The yellow one comes pretty close. I know I'm repeating myself...but this is just beautiful.
OOOHHHHHH!!!!
I gotta have that one......
Root!
Road trip!!!!
Pick me up on the way! Gorgeous!
Can you swing past here, I'll help load!
I'm with ya CC!!!Lets go get a whiff of this beauty!!
Hide that plant Tracey! Get out the camouflage cover! Move it to your mom's house(no wait, she wouldn't give it back)
The only thing that may keep Tracey's new plant safe is that so many of us have this same brugling cross growing in our yards and who knows what they will bloom like!
THANKS SUPER SEED SUSIE!
So what should Tracey use that pollen on to make it even more pink? Back to L'Amour again?
What about to Rosenquartz? Tracey, do you have RK? Last night my RK was finally as dark as my L'amour. But what would be gained in that?
You could sell that pollen Tracey! To me..LOL
had a vision of the old night of the living dead movie--but it was all of us------------headed toward tracey's brug seedlings!!!
Out off all the seeds Susie sent me I got the best germination from Rosamond x L'A. It will be so exciting to see blooms. This one is sure is a beauty.
How far away are you from blooms PoppySue? I am in a state of lustful agitation! I just went out and fertilized mine again! LOL
I don't even have any Ys yet. I've been fertilizing like a mad woman. They're nice & green anyway - lol. Most of them are only 2 feet tall but some have lots of branches. I kinda doubt I'll see blooms before frost but who knows. I did manage to get a couple from seedlings last year.
I think Tracey has all of us out fertilizing and potting up our seedlings from this cross. I know I am, I just did my six.
It stands to reason there will be a nice flower variation on these. Mine took from 2 weeks to 3 months the germinate and the leaf differences and growth habit keep me looking at them several times a day. The leaves sets range from 1" to 2 1/2" apart, some leaves ate smooth edged, some slightly scalloped and one is markedly serrated. One plant has very downy leaves, one seedling had 2 stems after the seed leaves and one had 3 stems.
If the fertilizer Tracey uses was available to the general public, I would get it as well as buy shares in the company after seeing these results. [big :-) ]
Man I am tired, I came in read all this and ran to hide the bruglings, I think they are safe. They are tucked in nice and safe in differant corners of the greenhouse, whoops! I shouldn't have said that. ;) These are the Feb. plantings. If they are all this good, we are going to have some awesome plants. Kell I don't have RK yet. I do think I will cross this with Aurea Pink, and every double I have! Maybe Kyle's pink too! I love that one! That is Eric's right, mine are blooming like crazy here, I think I actually like it better than EP, it certainly blooms better!
Very nice flower.
I take that is a NO on the pollen....LOL!
Tracey,
Cross it to a double or send me the pollen and I'll cross it to a double. LOL

Gloria,
I was thinking the same thing. This pollen on Logees species, Knightii and candida flora plena. And of course Rothkirch back to this one above....of we can dream can't we.
I think some pollen on Inca Moon would be a super duper huge brug and of course since Tracey can grow out seeds in 4-5 months they would flower by Christmas!
OOOHHHH.....
whata ya think it would do with creamsicle!!!!!!
I had to bring this up to the top. I am so thrilled with it.
Tracey, again, what do you feed it?
Tracey . . have you named this spectacular brug yet? I know it will probably be difficult to think of an appropriate name for this beauty.
No I haven't named it, there are about 5 out of this cross, that are blooming. All very pretty, and very nice foliage. Various heights, two right at 5 foot. They are very heat tolerate, and the bugs don't seem to bother them. I really want to see which blooms best before I start trying to name one. Since we all know that could take a couple of years, I had hoped Susie would be here to see them, and see if we need to keep all or cull some. With the move though, it will just have to wait till next year. I have a hard time deciding because I want to judge them all by Ma Soeur(named just for Susie). I just knew that one was special from the first bloom, and by the third flush it proved me right! Now of we can just get one like her in pink, orange....
Instead of a real name give them an ID numer or letters, thats what I do with mine so I can still tell which is which even when not in bloom, write it right on the trunk........
