OOO - you've got the Hardy Hibiscus BUG! (h.h. is serious, when combined with other "flower fevers"!)
Glad the Mystery Shopping site worked out for you. A bit tedious to read it all and take the test, but worth it in the end. Also, another good and reputable (and BIG) Mys. Shop. Company is Shop 'N Chek - they do lots of work for big and small companies everywhere! http://www.shopnchek.com/home.html
Have fun with Mys. Shpg. Now, go PLANT those HH's, bad girl! (I mean bad seed!)
Hardy Hibiscus ?
What exactly do you do as a Mystery shopper? I could always use more plant money!! tee hee hee.
Every "shop" (shopping job) is different, but you are always noting and recording things like the cashier/employee's name, friendliness, length of time before they greeted you, ease of sale, and other customer service-related questions. Sometimes you are asked to make a purchase (will receive reimbursement), sometimes go in the restroom to see if it's clean. The stores could be a department store, fast food, muffler shop, jewelery store, etc. I even do one for a major chain where I have to go in and apply for a job, and rate their interviewer on certain criteria (they have a policy that a manager must interview you within 10 minutes of receiving application). You only accept the shops that you want, during the time periods you want (they specify typically a 1-week time period during which the shop must be completed). You usually have to complete their questionnaire online within 24 hrs. after the shop. Check out those websites I posted above to see if they have work in your area (no sense applying if they don't). Typical shops pay anywhere between $5-$20, with an average of $10. Good luck!
Hey thanks guys! I have a rose of sharon tree and it's got more seeds than I'll ever need...now what do I do with them LOL Help!!!! When do I plant them and how. I've put them into a plastic baggie ziplock to store until I know what to do. Let me know if anyone wants to trade anything for them :-) Finally something to trade. Thanks for the link ANewYorker !!!
I'll soon have lilac blooming...will get some seeds from that when they are ready
Annabelle, make sure they dry on a paper towel or paper plate before you put them in plastic. You don't want to find a bag of mold later. :( Sometimes seeds take weeks to dry. You can start them now or save them til spring. They do self sow so you could just sow them outside for the winter.
Consider it done...when I picked the pods from the "rose of sharon" tree they were dry in the pod. But I'm not taking any chances so I put them on a cookie sheet and into a dry place until I'm ready. :-) Thanks
