Trip to Yellowstone

Tiller, OR(Zone 8a)

I'm planning a trip to Yellowstone in September, and will also visit Yellowstone Bear World and the Tetons. I've done some internet research, but I don't want to get back home and find I've missed something wonderful! Please tell me about any little known things you particularly enjoyed there.
Thanks!

If you enter from the Northwest,I believe it is thru Gardener,as you come thru the gate and start up the hill to Mammoth hotsprings,on the left before the hill, there is a parkinglot on the left by the river,if you park there and walk the path to the right along the river, maybe 100 yards down the trail, you will come to the Hotpots, where the boiling clean water gushes out into the river,it is mayb 75yds long, this is a great spot to kick back in the river and watch the stars,in the day you may see Elk pass within 50ft of you,Eagles soar above, this is too nice !!!!also if you have time to take a drive,I think it is the North gate that runs NorthEast to Redlodge,Hwy 212 This is Without a doubt THE most beautiful highway in the US.goes up through Beartooth pass. Then ther is Opsrey falls,LOL!!I worked there for a summer! If you have not been there you are in for a treat!

Rootdoctor has the right idea. The hotpots are neat. He is also right about the Beartooth Highway! What a tremendous mountain road it is. High high peaks with spectacular views!
Make the circle down from the Beartooth mountains and back to Cody Wyoming where you need to visit the Buffalo Bill Historical Center that has been built there. It is spectacular and HUGE. try http://www.bbhc.org
Then you could travel back up the highway to the west of Cody and into Yellowstone again.
We lived in Cody for five years. Loved all but the wind. Especially loved the historical center!
