Wow Gloria, that is beautiful! Is it darker the Golden Lady? It looks darker on my screen. Love the name!

Homestead, FL(Zone 10b)

Beautiful flower.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Very pretty.

Yes it's a lot darker then GL....I'm hoping in time it will drop more of the second skirt. Monika recommended pollinating it with a versicolor and that's what I have been doing. I have two more in the GH that are GL X Whiskers and they two are doubles but very small flowers.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Very pretty. You did a great job on this one.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

There are so many new and beautiful brugs coming this summer. I've seen a lot that I would like to have on this first page of the brug forum. You are all doing a great job hybridizing.

She sure is something! Glory, I mean...... Her brugs are something to see also. Each one she makes is prettier thn the last one!!

I smell, a trade in there somewhere Gloria. That is going to be my next set of babies, doubles! Another really dark pink L'Amour baby opened over the weekend. I was thrilled!

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Glory,
you did a very good job.

Hamilton, Canada

Gloria,
Another beautiful brug you've made. How are your EP x versi peach crosses coming along. Mine are really getting big. I love to grow seeds as I learn a lot about leaf shape, leaf textures and so much more. Some of mine have versi type leaves. Only one is really velvety and that one I keep my eye on very closely. I'm hoping mine Y this year. I hope I do justice to your crosses.

Joydie,
I don't think I kept any of those crosses...can't remember. LOL I'll have to check my baby area.

Hamilton, Canada

Gloria,
Oh my, I bet you have so many seedlings you can't keep track of them. Well I hope at least one of mine turn out to be a good one.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

I was thinking of Gloria today and decided to take a trip down memory lane and read some of her old post and look at her picutres. Came across this one. Sure is pretty. I hope somebody has it so it will continue on. She sure had some beauties.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Peggy, I was thinking of her too. I was looking at my brugs and noticed how good Whiskers was looking after the rough winter it had. I sure do miss her.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I am glad you did, Peggy! I think of her often also. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer the same time Gloria was. They both got it in their bones. My Dad was further along. We shared alot of info on cancer. She will love us bringing her threads up now and then. Last week a new friend of mine shared an email Gloria had written about me to her, I was so touched. She was such a sweetheart!

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

I miss her too, especially as the Fl swap nears. She was always so much fun!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Gloria sent me this one last year, I promised to take good care of it, and keep working with it. I miss her tremendously, like all of you think of her often, she had a heart of gold, and was like the welcome wagon here. We talked about how much Biloxi had changed since we lived there. I have buds on this one, Monika what do you think should be put on it? Versi-Orange?

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Tracey, I am glad somebody has it to continue to work with. It would be a shame if it was lost.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I think we all miss Gloria. She was very special in many ways. Her hybrids were all very nice and I hope we never forget everything she did for all of us.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I plan on sending you and a couple other of our close friends a piece of this one for safe keeping, after Susie's last episode with Eternity, I think it is wise to send to a few so I will always have a clean start of it if needed. She also gave me Jessie's Little Doll, it also has buds.
