Or pollen... whatever!

All I have to say is thanks for the comments on Georgia Peach. Tig was the proud grower of that seedling though. I may have made the cross, but she did the work of growing it up. I can honestly say that I would definitely like to see Georgia Peach crossed to this one though as I think the color could be improved on for a darker peach and I must confess I love the shape of Georgia Peach as she has just enough suaveolens in her mix to make her worth while by my standards. I like hybrids that flare out wide, but are shorter though so thats me. I don't like the tinny middle just below the calyx of so many versicolor and suaveolens hybrids. That and the calyx tends to be too elongated in so many versicolor hybrids...so much so that it seems to overwhelm the flower in some cases.

The more I look at this hybrid, the more I like it.

I am too Cala! The blooms look just as good today as they did when they first opened. This one is 4 days old now. I guess our weather has a lot to do with that. It's been cooling off at night and the days have been in the 70s. Georgia Peach will go on the next fllowers to open :o)

Eric, I don't think you saw the daylilies I got from your seeds. I posted a couple of pictures in the daylily forum. http://davesgarden.com/t/389164/ A real purdy one opened up this morning. I pollinated some of my others with it's pollen.

Looks like your having lots of luck Poppysue, those hemerocallis seedlings don't look half bad. I just hope you pollinate them like you do your brugs.
