send member an email

I need to send a member an email, when I went to his homepage and clicked "send member an email" it sends me back to my home page. I thought I'd go to a thread he had started and go from there(click his name in the thread) and it still sends me back to my home page.

What member is it?

Odd. Well, I just added some more debug statements in and such, so would you give it another try and let me know what happens?

OK, now he doesn't exist. Ted has disappeared!

What specifically did the page say to you? Would you copy and paste the ENTIRE message into this box? That way I can see what the system is doing.

Dave, is there a way you could progrm for us to delete old "sent" messages from our DG member page?

Some are no longer useful and it would save bandwidth, wouldnt it?

Lavanda, they are there for your convenience and cannot be removed. It's a sent-mail folder of everything you have ever sent, and it permanently hidden within the database, always able to be retrieved by you, at your will.

No, it doesn't hurt the bandwidth and takes almost no disk space.

Well, if I had put the name in right, it would have worked. I will admit that when I was a baby I did have true blonde hair. I found him, he emailed me back.

Thanks. Yes, i do use it as my sent mailbox, but was concerned that too many might slow downt he system.
