The monarda you gave me is starting to bloom! It's next to some shasta daisys and they will look good together. Thanks!

Kewlio Darius! Mine is blooming too and looks much nicer now that I have thinned it out a bit LOL. Yours looks wonderful and notice how GREEN everything is with all the rain we've gotten. You're welcome to more anytime you want. Also, remember the melampodium seeds you got last fall. Did you sow them and are they blooming. Tons of mine re-seeded so I have plenty of plants if you want any...

I love them and mine have grown about four feet tall this year thanks to the rain. I have the pink, but would love the red and purple!!! Hint, hint - anyone!!!!

Now Margaret, all you have to do is ask and you will receive LOL...I'll get some purple in the mail to you next time I head into town which will be next week sometime!

But mon cher.....I didn't know you had the purple or else I would have been knocking on your door!!! :-)

vic, I don't even remember what melampodium is... LOL at myself but not too embarassed!

I haven't sown any seeds this year, just concentrating on getting the house up to snuff so it can sell. I have a 3 gallon bucket FULL of seed packets, and hopefully some will be viable next year.

I hope to take some of the monarda with me. I have another patch of it back near the shade garden which hasn't bloomed yet... gets less sun... but won't be missed as it's not in a bed per se.

Here's the melampodium from last year...Still looks the same this year though LOL....
