JoanJ - E-mail difficulty?

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

Joan, did you get my e-mail? I got messages twice saying that it wasn't delivered.

I got your note! You had said you were still having difficulty receiving e-mail, so I wanted to make sure you see that I got it! Thanks my dearest friend :)

Guess what I got? Two new epimediums and two new astilbes. Oh, and a new tree! My favorite nursery had their perennials half-price, so I just couldn't resist. And I just don't have enough plants! LOL I still have about 40 that must be repotted; I dare not plant any new perennials until September or later. Summer drought seems to have started :(

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Hi Kathy! I did get an email from you a while back, but my email seems to be an on and off again sort of thing. I hate that, because it seems that I get all the junk mail I could possibly read, but lots of my good mail goes astray. I wish we lived in a more populous area so there were more ISP choices, but for now I'm plugging along.

You got more plants too? I went after work and bought 4 trees and a bush at a garden center in the next town that comes in seasonally for a short time. They had trees that they originally had marked at $80 for $29. They were at least 8 foot tall and very healthy looking. I can't remember for sure what they all were, but there were two different ash trees, a maple, and an amur chokecherry. I can't remember what the bush is, as I picked out the healthiest looking things I could find and quickly got out of there. It was 101 degrees and the place was packed with people. A co-worker was with me and her DH came with the horse trailer to haul them home for us.

Try emailing me again to see if it comes through, 'kay? The bulbs you sent are all planted, and the rose cuttings are happily concentrating on making more roots in their little pots under the grow lights.

Have a great July 4th holiday!

Joan
