Roadrunner to travel again.....

I got a call from my daughters friend tonight....inviting me to go to Florida with her ....she is to go visit her Mom in St. Augustine...and I want to go visit folks in Citrus County.....well...I only have one day to be ready for take off....but I THINK I can be ready.....so hold all my email for 2 weeks...in case I hit the road.

since i come to the south near to the coast,
here there are many kinds of seafoods,
such as sea snails,oysters,shellfish,saltfish,
shrimmes,and the like.
only i have no good apetite for ...

I was always surprised when I lived on the Chesapeake Bay that the available types of seafood was so limited. It's been so long since I lived in FL that I've forgotten about good seafood...

HI folks!! Well..I did get to meet our First Lady of DG in person at last...and although I thought their DS is a cutie...that DD stole my heart!! She is too precious for words....and besides...she liked my lap!! Now, Trish...please don't be telling me "OH! She makes up with everyone!!" LOL I was so sorry to hear of Grannylois' loss!!

There has been so much rain here...lots of streets closed due to high water.... WEll..have to go...searching for that Fountain for DJM!!!)I REALLY don't need it dear!)hehehe Jo

Careful down there in Fla...when the roads flood like that I've heard tell of the lizard-fish that come out and plague people. Some are big as army boots. Others so small you can barely see them. It's the small ones that are of concern. They tend to lay their eggs between your toes during periods of high water. Then when you take a bath/shower the eggs hatch out (warm water) and the lizard-fish then live on in your drain pipes for eternity. This causes people to develop the habit of always keeping one eye on the drain while taking showers, just to be sure nothing comes up and bites their toes. (I believe this is also what makes the water pipes squeak and bang from time to time.)
Hope you have some high water galoshes to wear while you're down there! ô¿ô

WOW! Lookey here! Isn't Trish lovely? The FIVE represents September 5th...my birthday and my pick for Baby Whitinger's arrival...LOL We had a lovely stop-over at the Whitinger House. Jo

Recently I was honored to host Gardeness Trish in Arizona....while she was with me I introduced her to my good friend, Ian....here he gets to meet the Life sized model!! He enjoyed the brief stop and being able to play with the Whitinger Kids on their playground equiptment....and Dave and Trish's DS was carrying around a little metal tool box...with pictures of....what else? ...TRACTORS on it...after enticing him to open the box to show me what he carried...it was filled with....GRAHAM CRACKERS!! He was very willing to share with us all. DD of the house was very proud of the dress she had on that "Mommy made". She also shared with me that they had "planted baby seeds"!! Trish can't wait for the seed to sprout. LOL Jo

Yeah- she was pretty pushy with that camera! LOL. If I had known, I would have looked a little better for the occasion. ahhhwell.

The young man is Ian- Jo's friend's son. He was an absolute delight! Very well mannered- and I don't say that about many 4 year olds!!
