Is something wrong with Photo uploads?

I just uploaded 2 images to DG.....this one to Ident Forum:

And this one to my Journal:

They are all "chunked up" and I they look fine on my PC but when I upload them they're getting all messed up. ????

I've successfully added several photos already that didn't do this.

Wow, that's really weird. I've never seen anything like it. Are you editing these images at all before uploading them? If yes, what software are you using?

Well, a better question is: what software touches this thing as it goes on its journey from camera to PC to DG?

Dave-I use a Nikon950. I plug in my SanDisk card into a reader on my PC. Open the drive for that reader. Double click the image. It opens in Microsoft Photo Editor 3.0. I resize it to 50%, save it to my harddrive under a meaningful name. Then upload to DG. As I said I've loaded several images in my Journal (http://davesgarden.com/ej/showimage.php?eid=48769)

Tonight is the only night I've had problems.
