Big brother loved her as long as she was back of the glass but it was a different story when she was placed in his daddy's lap.

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Awwhhh!!! That is one precious little girl. Give her a kiss for me. Big brother will come around too. He's got that "big heart" look about him. It's just an adjustment for him, but he'll catch on and soon be the primary protector. Give him a kiss for me too.

What wonderful photos. Almost makes me want another one too. Don't anyone dare tell DH that!

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Jim, was she your birthday present? Another one to share "our" birthdays Jim....does it get any better than that?

Congratulations Jim and Bobbie on your new grandaughter!!
she is a beauty!!!!

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

A perfect baby in every way
Born on her Grandpa's Birthday
The apple of her Mothers Eye
leaving big brother wondering why
since she only seems to sleep or cry!
Soon she will learn to giggle and coo
he'll be amazed at what sissy can do.
And as they grow up big brother will know
how to make her follow where ever he goes
And the smiles will soon return to his face
When he knows that Emily did not take his place!

(Zone 5a)

Oh Jim she is so cute I know that you and Bobbie will have her spoiled in no time.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

What a sweet blessing for your birthday, Jim! God bless y'all, each of ya! :)

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Thanks all. They are coming home today so we'll get to spoil her real good. I printed this posting out and carried to hospital for son and dil to read and save for Emily.

(Zone 5a)

Life little pleasures....awwwwhhh. God bless you all and don't ya'll spoil her too much or you'll be getting up at three in the morning giving her bottle because she will only take it from grandpa and grandmaw lol.

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

I predict that little boy will be the worst spoiler of all. He will become pretty possessive of her before you know it. After all, what guy could resist her charms? She really is a beauty. I won't try to get you to promise me lap time, but if I'm around babies, I just sort of have to hold them, and usually at length. So be warned, and don't promise all the hugging rights away. I know, Jo will try to horn in, but be strong.

Bay City, MI(Zone 5a)

What a sweet little princess!!! Congratulations to You and Bobbie!! Emily is my little grandaughters name too!!!

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

What a cutie!!! You must be the proudes Grandpa right about now :)

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Thanks all. She is home now and I predict the spoling will start soon. As a matter of fact it started last night. I went and rocked her some. The brother is alright now that they are home and he sees there is enough love for both. Jim

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Wishing I was close enough to rock her! Such a beauty, she will probably long for the relief of her crib because everyone will be forever holding her. Babies are just such a wonderful gift, and I'm feeling seriously deprived here. My youngest grand is now three!
