I was posting a message and when I hit send I got the 'page not found' page. Everything went to that and my message went to cyberspace.

That happens to me all too often at Blogger.com -- because of that, I've gotten into the habit of copying the entire post into my clipboard before I hit submit, just to be safe!

LOL Only YOU would back up a post! LOL If I know there are problems or I actually have something important to say, I will copy it. Today I have had the 'page not found' problem a few times. I'm still in and out though. ;)

I, too, have lost posts several times and now back them up to the clipboard before hitting "send," unless they're so short that my old brain can remember what I said. Same thing with e-mails, which Yahoo manages to lose quite a lot. :(
