He left in confirmation school/camp on yesterday, and stay in there for a week. There`s not computer so we have to be out from his messages a week too.
I was there former week and I will have the confirmation on sunday.
Well, Let`s hope that they dont have much exercise in there:) LO*L.
Our Friend, Evert is gone (for the week)
He'll be back soon :)
Congratulations on your confirmation
I remember when I went through that when I grew up in Germany :)
Yes, a week later:)
Thank you...
My uncle (He´s my godfather too) was tended to come bless me on altar but few days ago he got bad chicken-pox....Yep, he didn`t has whem he was child.
So my another godfather come...
Thank you for letting us know this. Congratulations, too!
At first, I was afraid something had happened to Evert. I'm glad to hear he's okay and just away for a few days! Tell us more about confirmation, Mitjo?
Congratulations to you Mitjo on your confirmation, and thanks for letting us know about Evert.
Gardenwife.
Us, who where in the camp are back of the church, and when the church service starts we "march" on the aisle to beches which are close as possible to altar.
The the priest gives us a mark and the we stand up and walk to the altar, the comes ISOSET...they are people who passeds confession school two years ago and they were in the camp with us....:) and they bless us, and then come godfathers who bless us too.
Then we go back to our bench, the the priest says that "good confession schoolers, come to join you first Holy Communion" and we go, then they gives us piece of bread and little bit of vine...:)
Then we go to back of our bench again, and the church servis go on....when it`s ends we march out and the pries gives our reports. And outside people could take pictures.
ps: we are wearing white albs.
Hope you did understand something, LOL.

Yes, I understand - thanks for sharing about this.
Mitjo, you just about stopped my heart for a minute!
Next time say something like; Evert went to camp, or Evert is out of town.
Your subject line sounds like something the priest would say at the beginning of a funeral ceremony.
I went to confirmation camp too about a hundred years ago. It was lots of fun and I hope both of you will have a great time.
In Sweden the kids get lots of gifts on their confirmation day. Is that the same in Finland?
Oh yes! I thought that the caption is tearing...
And now it has changet! Good for you...:)
I´m very sorry this mixing!
Yep, we get/got gifts:)
