Earlier this evening my 21 y/o grandson came over for a visit. He does that quite regularily. He brought a large box in with him, and when I asked what it was,,he smiled and said he'd bought me a DVD player. It's not my birthday, or any other special day...but he sure made it special for me. He brought Forrest Gump as well...our favorite movie, and we've already worn out two VCR tapes of it.

Ya know, my kids turned out good in spite of me....

Thanks everyone, for your kind words. Yes, I'm a lucky woman..and count my blessings, and enjoy every minute with my children that I can. The planning of my granddaughters wedding, Aug 30th, has been a true test of our endurance. We all may be insane before this is over.
