Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

So if 30 boxes were mailed yesterday that means that everyone should have their box at least by Monday of next week don't cha think?
How many traders were there in all Eyes??

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

I should hope so, MOLLYBEE. We had 59 traders total.

"eyes"

Albany, MO(Zone 5a)

Wait a minute Eyes....59 is an odd number???? How did that work out???

I'm getting a little nervous about my pal receiving her box..she hasn't posted in quite a while..I hope she's not gone on vacation or something.

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Everybody got a different person's name.......doesn't matter if it's 3 or 59.....LOL. Example...Patty, Diane, and Linda...

Patty to Linda
Linda to Diane
Diane to Patty

See........easy!!

The postman greeted me today with a lovely plant box from Elsie. The plants are big and healthy and very well packed - such a treat!! There was a lovely note card enclosed with a picture of my two favorite birds - hummers!
There was:
Coleus Freckles
Coleus Amora
Hosta Frances Williams
Hosta Elegans
Sedum Autumn Joy
Stardust Impatien
Hen and Chicks

If it were proper I would say thank you - but instead I will just say you did good! I have picked out spots for each of them. They are resting a bit in the shade after their long nap - I will plant them when the sun drops a little. YES - I said ‘sun’ - does everybody remember what it looks like? If we get much more rain we will all be trading pond plants on the next trade!

Thank you ‘eyes’ for putting this together. It has been my first trade - and really great fun.

Happy Gardening

Wow ~ very nice selection, Eyes! Great picture, too! I've been wondering where to get those root holders as they would make plant trades even easier!

I save the ones I get from store bought flowers, but I REALLY like the ones Studley used. Any leads, Studley, on where you found those?

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

I'm still waiting too, djm. I thought for sure I would have a box today. I'm sure it will be here tomorrow, I am so excited I can hardly wait.

Gilmer, TX

Dirtpig, no need to keep looking for the gourd seeds, they are sitting right here in the sunroom. I will send them with the amaryllis and calla lilies. Hope to get these in the mail Friday, but wanted to get something in the mail by the dealine. We've had so much rain here I just got these dug up today. Also need to get lantana, purple or yellow, or both? LMK

Oh yes, they are brugmansia, not bougies. One is Teguila Sunrise and the other is a mystery. Several lost their tags during our move last summer. Was going to send Ecu. Pink, but he had gotten to big. You will love TS !!!

Eyes,

Could you check on my trader also? I haven't heard anything from her and I want to make sure everything made it okay.

Lori

Sure, Lori.

Morph, I use those water tube vials for unrooted cuttings. They work great with coleus since they root so readily and hold up well in transit. I am a florist, so I am swimming in them. They come with dendrobium orchid cut flowers. Each stem is in a tube as it travels from Thailand to florists in the states. Usually, we just throw them away. I keep some on hand for such trades. Make friends with your local florist and beg them to save them for you. I hope this helps.

Cape May Court House, NJ(Zone 7a)

I am waiting with you guy's too, no box today!!!!!

I also received a nice pair of garden gloves in my box. My DH laughed because I said it was too muddy to wear them when I planted all my goodies this evening. This is a list of what I received! Mcallen, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, it is my first. What color will this one be?

And, what color are the sibs?

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

I haven't got mine either. We're heading to NY in the morn for the NE Roundup. I won't be here to get if it comes tomorrow. I'll leave strict instructions with my stepson to take care of any plants that arrive. Hopefully they'll still be alive when we get home on Sunday.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Lavanda, I can't remember the daylily, it might be in the PDB, I just got them. the sib. are blue.
