We have been attacked by moles!!!!!!!!!!!! What a mess they are making of my yard and garden. I don't have a clue how to get rid of them. If anyone can help I sure would appreciate any suggestions. I made a path into my secret garden two days ago and now it looks like a war zone. Thanks, Meems

My dad had mole traps that he put over their runs - he was constantly killing them that way. They have practically made an obstacle course of our back yard too - I totally relate to your dilemma. Here's the best info I found.

They don't like castor oil, I know that much but not much else. I saw something at lowes the other day for moles, check there too

My mom fought moles for 20 years,and it was a running battle.She used everything that was advertised..including two electronic 'mole chasers' that you bury in the ground.

She used Spectracide twice a year to kill the grubs in the ground,as that are what your moles are hunting.This helped a little.She finally sold the place,and the new owners have kids,dogs and cats...and no mole problem.

I had a mole problem till I got my Sheltie,Carly.She has deemed it her mission in life to get these varmints.Voles too(of which I have vast colonies)She has the moles pretty much under control after a year and a half,but the voles are holding their own.

Here she is with her head in a mole run looking for her next victim.

My cat does the same job as Carly... I occasionally find a dead one she has left for me, but she keeps the population down enough that I never see a mole run.
