Still a 5 photo limit per day on PDB?

Zone 6, OH(Zone 6a)

I haven't been keeping up with that...is there still a 5 photo limit per day for the plant database?

Well, Vols left on a vacation this morning, so... SURE! :) Upload away, I'll take responsibility. :)

Hehe wonder if Terry can check DG on vacation? lol

She said she was bringing the laptop, so I have every confidence that she will see this thread sooner, rather than later. :)

Ok :) I don't usually post that many, but occasionally I will.

When doing anything on the PDB, please bear in mind that there are now two editors out of action for the time being. I'm unable to spend too much time sat in one place right now. I hope to be back up to speed soon but it won't be for a few days yet.

oh Baa, I hope you're okay?

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

tiG, I am glad you asked....I was gonna ask the same. I haven't seen Baas' name pop up here lately.

Baa, I hope you are ok :0)

Thanks tiG and Lisa. I've 2 gum infections, in between running to throw up because of the meds and having to lie down through the pain and disorientation I've not a great deal of time for much else. At present I've stopped taking the meds so I'm in limbo and able to do a little. I'm off to the hospital later to see if they'll refer me to a dentist (long, dull and shameful story).

oh I'm so sorry!!

Baa,
best wishes to you!!!

Baa, best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Terry, hope you are having a great time on vacation!

And here I have been blithely uploading photos with no memory of the requested limit! Sorry, please forgive. I will hold off a little until the editors get back up to speed.

But 3 cheers for Poppysue, who has been working with me so far tonight! Another under-sung gardener who is hard at work to keep this site strong!

When and where was there a limit mentioned? How could I have missed it? I wish I had as many as one-a-day to contribute.

Good thing Dave lives sooooo far away now - now I can't just drive up there and choke him for good measure (grin)

Yes, please, please, please still honor the 5/day limit. The original thread is here: http://davesgarden.com/t/381361/

And the reason for it is quite simple, a matter of manpower. Even when Baa, Sue and I are all here and able to monitor things, the PDB has become a true "juggernaut" to borrow one of Dave's favorite words. As the saying goes, success breeds success, and it's a great problem to have so many entries flooding in.

The five-a-day limit definitely helps us keep things under some semblance of control.

We'll have a better long term solution soon. I have a couple of files on the PDB, and managing the incoming images is on that.

(And it certainly is good news that I'm down here!! Of course, I'm only about 1200 miles from Vols, I think. She could be here tomorrow!!)

Oops...I've been loading a lot the last few days. I'll quit for awhile :) I just get 'in the mood' to do that sometimes. I don't think I have anything else to add for a few days anyway.

Too bad HC6,I wanted to see the last pic of your Dawn Redwood,I will be patient.:0)

I don't remember which one it was. I guess I'd have to go through all the pics I have of it and see which one isn't posted.

I had a lot of similar root canel problems. I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you Bug_Girl :)
