Searching

I completely rewrote the DG search engine yesterday and polished it off this morning.

You'll find it in its own box on the right-hand side of the page, under "Search DG".

it's now an all-encompassing search engine that searches the forums, plants db, journals, and tradelists all in one fell swoop. What do you think?

After typing in the search word/s, hit your enter or return key on your keyboard. Hope this helps.

Well the search engine certainly works, just tried it. Thanks Dave. But would it be possible to add a button to it? Or make the text "Search DG" interactive?

Thanks SMSpear1 !I thought there must be a simple answer but was too dense in the noggin to figure it out! LOL

It works great but I think that it may confuse a lot of us older users at first.

Dave, That is really cool! I will be using it all the time now. I can even look up any forum that I answered. Thanks a bunch!! Mick

Glad ya'll like it. I'm getting an incredible amount of use out of it, myself, of course.

I didn't add any buttons or anything to the search box, because of the space limitations. I figure that once you get used to it, then it'll be fine. I want the pages to be as clean as possible, and adding an extra image would make a big difference in load times and nagivability.
