my future aunt sent this to me. if you go to www.google.com
and enter your phone number, if not an unlisted number, it will tell you all about yourself. addy, directions to your house and all. you enter your number like this. ex. 912-354-5678. just thought you might like to know. this means anyone can find you.

well, mine isn't in there so that's a good thing but then again I haven't had my phone on very long so it may not have hit yet

i just printed out an example for my best friend to show her. my number is unlisted so i am not there but if your number is in the phone book then they find ya.

Everyone seemed to say that it's public knowledge anyway and just a sign of the times. It threw me for a loop in the beginning too, but there's nothing you can do to keep info off the web anyway. Reverse number lookups, you can search by phone number, all kinds of things. Not just at google either.

Remember..., the Internet offers NO NEW INFORMATION..., just a new way of DELIVERING information.

Reverse telephone directories (look up a phone number in numerical sequence and get the address), and maps have been available for many decades.

By virtue of having a listed telephone number, you give explicit permission for this data to appear in public sources.

Always has been this way.

The Internet is just a new way of delivering the data.
