a new bug...electronically speaking

I have suspected this for several days, but could not be sure till now.

Even if you are watching a specific thread, it may very well not be showing up on your welcome page/front page as having new messages posted.

I suspected it, but couldnt be positive till just now.

It is for me, the Testing the waters for an herb coop.

I have been watching this one, and several new entries have been posted that I had not seen. The indicator saying there are new messages is not on the home page.

But at the top of the thread it says I AM watching this thread.

Am I making any sense at all?

after we crashed I had noticed it happening and went into those threads and re-read them and the site then realized I was watching them.

But there are others.

SO, all, you may want to make sure you are not missing something.

And Dave, dahlin, sorry to heap more on your plate. But better now than later?

Lavanda - do the missing watched threads show up with replies if you hit SHIFT+REFRESH at your DG homepage?

Yes, I always hit refresh at the beginning of the sssion, and each time I finish reading ahtread, I click on home to refresh.

When I had started suspecting this, I went into my list of watched threads and started checking..

Didnt check al of the threads, but the few I could tell had not been showing up on my front page, when I clicked on them, it brought them up with the red yes that there new posts, and when I clicked on New, it would come up to around when we crashed originally.

After reading the thread, when I go to the front page, the
watched threads then begin appearing when there is osmething new, but the ones NOT checked and updated yet, dont.

I know I am not explaining this well at all, amy grammar is horrendous.

Have had that problem in the past, I think that no one has replied, but days later, I find out, that they did and that I did not see the update and then I feel bad. I went to check today, about the other problem and it not updated, I really did not want to bring it up because there are so many bigger problems, I don't want to be complaining about a small one, but I would like my page fixed, epecially after I tried to have a plant software to organize to look like my home page at daves, when the plant data base was down, but it did not work at all and caused me to have huge computer problems. So, I really want to have a database of my plants, but I don't want to try next. I was thinking I would create individual files in microsoft word for each plant, but that would be a huge amount of work, then I decided to divide them up into hostas would be one document and so on, but I get confused. This comes from having so many plants, I feel like each one is my baby and I want to keep track of them. Basically, the site is running quite well over all, so I did not want to sweat the small stuff as they say. It is mostly working with only a few small bugs to be worked out. Great job everyone.
