zipcode reports have disappeared on my page

San Francisco, CA

I had taken great pains to go back and zipcode report all the plants on my page, and now they all seem to be gone since the restoration, it says I only have two zip code reports. This is a matter of concern, because I also took the time to give report for the following cities San Jose, Sacramento, and San Mateo county because my mother lives there. Many of my plants I added will do well in these areas, but not in San Francisco proper such as the orange and lemon trees.

I am probably the only person on daves from the San Francisco Bay area, and I wanted these cities to have some reports so when local people check they won't get a report that none of the plants will grow in thier area, due to a lack of representation in that area.

That's odd - they shouldn't be gone. I will look into this. When did you add the zipcode (was it in April, or very recently?)

Dave

Ahhh yes, I found them. They are on the old hard drive which will be shipped to me this week. So, no worries, when it gets here I will add them back into the main database.

So, feel free to continue adding away and in a couple weeks all the past entries will be back.

Thank you that is a huge relief. Since some people see my entries, they may assume they are all good plants for San Francisco, but San Francisco has a much cooler summer climate then the surrounding Bay Area. The Western Red Bud tree won't set flowers in San Francisco because the winter is not cold enough. Hense the need to add the zipcode reports for other areas.

Good news - the old (crashed) server arrived at my house today and I have been digging around in there getting the few things that didn't make the backup.

The PDB zipcodes were the first thing recovered, and this is finished. All the PDB zipcode reports that were lost in the server crash are now back in the database!
