I see that they upped the price too. Used to be about 40 or so for a year and now it's $75 for a year. That's a bit much for me.

Thanks for the tips GW but I've tried some of those before and no matter how private they say they are, someone always seems to be able to get in and that's what you get for free service :(
The downside is too that most of those are restricted to the amount of people who can chat at one time.

I'm working on getting another one together somehow so we can have some place to chat :)

I have several chat applications available at no charge through my website's webhost, but am reluctant to just open it up; I would prefer to moderate chat like Dave and Trish do, but things have been crazy lately and I've only been online sporadically.

what about yahoo chat? we could create our room chat room, just an idea..

That's what I said earlier - We've never had problems with anyone showing up in a private chat. It doesn't show up on the list of rooms, and the only way someone can get in is if someone in chat invites them.
