right now after posting a picture at DG?: Should we stop posting pictures for some days because the pictures ( may be)need much loading time.
May be it would be easier for the Dave´s Team.
May be I am wrong...any ideas?
I wonder
That is probably an excellent idea, as the upload of photos probably causes a painful drain on the server.
I will take your suggestion, Ludger, and refrain from sharing whatever "dahling" images I have of my kittens, until things are back "up to speed".
Great idea!
Thank you Angel,I believe in some days we will be able to post it all. But right now Dave should get a consideration.
I was wondering about loading photos too. I will refrain until Dave gives the word that he is back up to his normal bandwidth. Hope this helps get everyone back to somewhat normal speeds in the forums.
I had decided to do this also.It just seems that any un-necessary drain on the resources will only give Dave more headaches.
We can still post text and welcome newbies with an explaination as to what we are going through, but maybe if we can make it just a little easier on Dave,it will be something that we can physically do to help at this time.
May be we should give a link to the other forums? I will do it at Brugmansia and Friends.
Seems to me not all members are watching it here.
No, the photos are just fine - keep 'em coming. I would have removed the photo loading ability if it was a big deal (it would be easy to do that).
The DG load isn't that bad - it's the Plants Database that is really heavy. Please do continue with your normal DG activities, as much as possible.

OK
