Big Fire!

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Just let you all know that we all are fine. Our part of 18 acres of land got in big, big fire. The part of our land are very thick and forest ( woods). Sad some of trees burn down.. LUcky they saved part of land that are full of beautiful oak trees. There was several fire trucks watched the fire close before it got too close to our new house and trailer.. It happened at 1pm today. It's still fire in some spots. There are smoke all over.. I had to wear mask cause of pregnant. IN back of our land.. There is a land that the Tree Forest farm set it fire.. but it made it worse due windy. It went toward to north from south. It scared out of me which I was puzzled it was smoke then later.. I went outside and oh my gosh.. It got worse and did not know it was on our land.. My neighbor had to call 911 and come to help!

So now we all are relief since the fire's slow down now..

I will post some photos later on..

From our new house to the side of our land.. In this wood, there are several beautiful oak trees that are saved by firefighters. They drove a big truck with 1500 gallons of water and sprayed in there to stop the fire from spread to south.
