Thank you so much for the call you really made my night. I really needed the laugh. I can always trust you to make me laugh. It was so great to hear your voice. The call was wonderful I think we could have talked all night we got disconnected 3 times but heck it was great. Thank you for calling and hope to hear from you again soon. Hugs ( yes those hugs are for you ) lol

Lucky you!! I love to hear Barry's voice too...but I have only had the one call from him. Jo

I'm relieved to know someone else was disconnected. Barry thinks it's just my phone or at least American phones, but if it happened to you, Peggy, I am convinced it wasn't on our lines. When he called back, I would answer and immediately be disconnected. I now believe he is such a high-profile person, the CIA or some other agency is monitoring his calls to women in America. Whooohooo, to be under surveillance at my age is a trip!

Jo, you aren't wicked enough. I always let my guard down and laugh, regardless what he says, and later I realize I might be responding too spontaneously. Oh, well, I never worry about propriety. He's funny, and fun, and entertaining, and his accent thrills me, and I just throw caution to the winds and enjoy his banter. Until he remembers about Meestair George. W. Bush! Then I have to try to pretend to be intelligent enough to follow his lead and grunt now and then.

And I tried to call you once or twice, but you weren't home and you didn't even have an answering machine. Maybe he can't reach you.

Aimee....I am usually home every night. As to an answering machine, when I retired it did too! I do have Callwave on my computer so if you should call and get an answering machine it means I am on the computer...just tell me to get off that you will call back in 5 minutes...and do it! Would love to hear your voice too. Jo

I called when I was frantically searching for a DGer to talk to, can't recall why. Couldn't reach anyone in person.

I am the worst nocturnal you will ever know, so it will probably be at night, after eight my time (CDT). The free cell phone calls makes it even more likely. To talk free just thrills me. It sort of compensates for all the years when AT&T overcharged, and I use it with pleasure.

I better set an alarm, because once we get started, we might talk the night away.

Aimee....I usually awake in the wee hours of the morning and can't go back to sleep...until time to get up!! The Doctor says it's OK...as OLD folks don't need as much sleep....now, why is that? Jo
