(Zone 5a)

Your welcome :} and it is good news thank Gog.

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

All the praying everyone has done has really helped!!!!

Mom is recovering from 2 surgeries, one Wednesday and one Thursday. She was released from the hospital Friday (I was actually sneaked onto a hospital computer and attempting to log on here when they told us that they would do the paperwork!)

The computer is in her bedroom, so obviously I will not be able to be on much until she is better. It took about 12 hours to wake her from her second surgery, and it will be another few days before she is really awake from the anesthetics. They really mess her up bad! And two days in a row...

Anyway, I had such a great time reading about the line dance y'all were doing! Zany, what in the world is in your pocket? And just how big is that monster????? He won't eat the bulbs, will he??? Some of them would make him pretty sick...

As you can imagine, spending almost the whole week in the hospital with mom, I am far behind on my bulb-digging, so keep the party going a few more days! And rejoice with me over my mom's improvement!!! *** doing a happy dance!!!!

Joan, you just might get the giant alliums now! They are done flowering, time to divide them rapidly approaching...

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

joining Lupy in the happy dance........come on every one!!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

I'm dancin I'm dancin!! So glad to hear the good news Lupi.
Lupi, Put me down for a giant allium too if there is enough. I'd love to add that to my new bed :)

Now where is Zany, I know she can sing us a tune so we can all dance around here!!

Fort Edward, NY(Zone 5a)

So glad to hear the wonderful news!!! Hope she begins feeling like herself again really soon...;0)...Now Lupy, go soak in a nice hot bubble bath, with a candle, and some relaxing music..If anyone needs and deserves it, its you...

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

So happy to hear that your Mom is home and recovering from this ordeal. I'll continue to pray for a quick and complete recovery for her. Get some rest dear friend. The bulbs will wait for awhile. You come first, ya hear?

Hugs,
Joan

(Zone 5a)

Lupy you know that I am doing my happy dance with a little la,la, on the side. Boy I didn't realize how good these old bones could move, feel like I am 20 again.

I am so happy for mom and still praying her speedy recovery so I can tell on you, I am seriously thinking about making up some stuff to tell her *giggle*

Now you don't have to worry about digging up the bulbs I'll just come over and dig the ones I want while fighting off all monsters.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

And the Wind strikes again!

Quoting Wind here:
"Now you don't have to worry about digging up the bulbs I'll just come over and dig the ones I want while fighting off all monsters."

No fair Wind! You should be made to wait right along with the rest of us. Just because you can go over and dig your own bulbs...isn't fair!! We don't live close enough to do that!! :P

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Lupi, I am doing a very happy dance and you know it is hard for me to dance at all but for your Mom I will keep on doing it if it makes her feel better. And you take care of yourself before you try to dig anymore for these folks. They can wait till you feel up to digging. After all I think we are all having fun here anyway. :>)

I agree with Molly, Wind. YOu should have to wait anyway instead of buttering up Lupi with your promises. It will be hard for some of us to resist sending you several boxes of really rotten bulbs if you even try to side step your way into her garden for your selection first. I would suggest that you WATCH OUT.. giggle

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

Zany is still here at the the end of the line and thrilled that your Mom will soon be fine.

The thing in my pocket would never eat bulps deriving its sustenance mostly from grubs.

They are great little critters that befriended me
and are really quite handy as in time you will see...

So please put allium bulbs on my list
But please don't have Windsufferer assist
Cause if she sniffs em their scent will be missed!

Now I am enjoying the conga line
And hope you'll come join us when your Mother is fine!

Zany, Bulps? LOL

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL! I could go back and edit it but then your post would seem odd! So Bulps ot is :~)

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

I thought maybe you would figure out some sort of strange beast that went by the name of bulps.

Did you notice that I stood up to Wind to also protect you and your interests? She needs to stay in line also. giggle

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL! Yes I noticed...but you can't contain the Wind...Unless you are a windbreaker. The best we can hope for is that she will leave some of the flowers alone and not sniff all the fragrance from them.

Western, WI(Zone 4a)

Don't know if I can get my bones doing a dance or not, but will try!! So glad to hear your Mother is doing better. Sounds like you need rest also. Catch a snooze once in a while and the bulbs can wait!!!
Maxine

Blue Springs, MO(Zone 5b)

Oh I'm so sad
It took so long
To join this throng
I may be wrong
But sinced I'm last
In this long line
I may not get
A bulb that's mine
But if I don't
I'll say it's true
That I am glad
I noticed you!! :)

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

TamTam tis not too late
So have some fun while we wait

Join us dancing in the congo line
but watch your step some friends of mine
are small and green but dance real fine!

Lupy likes a little ditty
and since yours was rather witty
I'm sure you'll get a little pretty.

(Zone 5a)

ALRIGHTY! THE WIND IS IN!!!!

Bulbs and more blubs, is that what ya'll are hoping for
Well come one come all just line up at the the door.
I will be helping lupy dig, a couple for Mollybee,
and a couple for the Zany one and Ponditis as well
when they try to plant their bulbs they will find only a shell.
Now as for the rest of you waiting in line
I just want to say all the good bulbs are mine.
THE WIND HAS SPOKEN!!!

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

I here ya howling but it seems to be HOT AIR! HA HA! We know Lupy will watch out for our best interests and not let that sniffer of yours steal the insides of our bulbs along with the scents! Now you behave yourself Windy One and dig only where Lupy wants you to dig....Stay away from that orchid....and leave that rose alone! ;~} ( won't tell this mob that we are old friends and you are diggin the best for ME!)

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Now now Zany here I thought you were with us on this...now the truth comes out!! You and Wind are in this together!! Now will you please take the knife outta my back? LOL

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

Knife? Back....I'm innocent I say... INNOCENT!

(Wow, that Mollybee has good ears...she even hears things whispered in brackets!)

PSSST! Windy, over here...I need psst pssssst and ....shhhh.. I'll distract Mollybee...

HEY MOLLYBEE, Did you see that Maxine Dance? Maxine, shop Mollybee that fancy footwork!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Trying to distract me with that fancy foot work of Maxine are ya??! I don't miss much since I tend to buzz around everyone like the bee I am! LOL
All the whispering will do you no good...the truth is in the bag that you carry outta the garden! I'll have Pond whip a hole in it and let them all fall to the ground! Then we'll all scatter to get the fallen bulbs and you'll be none the wiser!!

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

BAG? What bag? My dear I think you are in need of a hearing aide if you are hearing whispering....;~) Better be careful MollyBee...they will be locking you up in a padded room if you keep being paranoid and listening to whispering voices ... LOL

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

hee hee Then hopefully Pond will keep them off of me :)

(Zone 5a)

I am so sorry to say that June was taken back to the hospital today with blood clots in her legs. She is allergic to the blood thinning medicine so the doctors are trying to figure how what they can do to help.
Lupy ask that you all please keep praying for her.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Extra prayers indeed.

Hope everything turns out ok for her Mom.

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

That is terrible news. :~( I pray they will find a way to disolve those clots safely and quickly!

(Zone 5a)

I will pass on your messages as soon as I talk to her again.

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Still praying here.

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

ohh my how awful! I will pray that all is better by now and that she has complete recovery from her clots. Tell Lupi not to worry about us. We understand and we will stand here and wait patiently again. Tell her also that I send hugs. (((((((((Lupi and family)))))))))))
Love ya, Lani

Fort Edward, NY(Zone 5a)

Oh, Im so sorry to hear that! Im praying for her that the clots disolve, and that June will be up and around really soon.

Cortlandt Manor, NY(Zone 6a)

Lupy -- you are in our prayers -- strength for you and healing for your dear mother.

Montezuma, NM(Zone 5b)

This is a prayer for Lupy and her mom, June. There is a word for what they might be feeling. The word is pronoid.

pronoid (n.) The sneaking suspicion that the whole world is conspiring to shower you with blessings.

They no longer need to suspect. The whole world is conspiring to shower them with blessings.

((((( Lupy & June)))))

Western, WI(Zone 4a)

I like this poem:
I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY
I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard
I felt the answer in my heart
Although he spoke no word!
I didn't ask for wealth or fame-
[I knew you wouldn't mind]
I asked him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!
I asked that He'd be near you
At the start of each new day
To grant you health and blessings
And friends to share you way!
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and samll-
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all!

Hope your Mom is better, Lupi

(Zone 5a)

I just talked to Lupy the other day and now her father is having some health problems so please keep them all in your prayers, I also pass on all of your well wishes and prayers on to her,she is grateful and said to thank you all.

KoKo I love the word pronoid and I will pass it on.

Maxine I love that poem and I am sure Lupy will to, so I will say thank you for both of us.

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

god....hold lupy, her mom and dad in your loving hands.
wrap a quilt of comfort around them.
shower them with your blessings
warm them with your love
hold them close to your heart
allow them the comfort of knowing no fear
hear our prayers and send them to there hearts
so that they may know they are not alone and are comforted by our love.
amen.
