My BEAUTIFUL Granddaughters :-)

May I present Alyssa and Alexia. Alyssa is on the left in pink and will be 5 next month. Alexia is on the right and is 11. They are cousins. Aaahhhh....grandchildren...Aren't they wonderful!

What beautiful girls! The sweetness must go through and through, as it just shines from their eyes and in their smiles. I know you are proud, and well you should be. Thanks for sharing, Vic, they are real treasures.

And of course they have NO shoes on! uhhhh...I think Horseshoe would be proud of them LOL

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

(hmmm...somebody say no-shoes?)

Wow! What a couple cutie-pies! A pic suitable for framing!

Alexia and Alyssa...they'd fit right in with my Alex! All three of 'em barefoot!

Be proud, Grandma, be proud!

How Sweet, Vic, and boy I bet you just eat them up. I certainly would.

I think Alexia takes after her GrannyVic with those good looks and blondeness. Same smile.

Alyssa reminds me of my granddaughter Katie (Dave and Trish's) with her gorgeous brown eyes and hair.

I know you love them to pieces.

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

Welcome home vic!! I wasn't a bit surprised to read the posts above and see they mirrored my own thoughts. Beautiful, precious girls, beautiful names and I too believe Alexia bears a striking resemblance to her doting grandmama. All in all I know you had a wonderful stay in Ohio and even though it was only for a couple of days, sure did miss you! :-)

Harford County, MD(Zone 6b)

What beautiful girls....grandchildren really are "special".

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Vic, adorable grandkids you have there....so, tell us, how was the big bash? were you able to pull off the surprise???

I am glad you are back :)

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Vic they are beautiful. Hope you had a wonderful time!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Vic I am so glad you are home safe and sound and a bit sad I bet? I am sure you had a great time and cherished every moment. They are beautiful little girls! So was the surprise a big surprise???

Hey there Michele....it was definitely a BIG surprise. We were all bawling like babies. And yes, grandma is very sad. I'm just glad we're going back up when baby comes. But, I will miss Alexia. I will post some more pics of them later. Alyssa, the 4 year old is such a tomboy. She "drives" her own atv. That gives grandma instant gray hairs. But then all of our girls were dare devils too when they were growing up. Climbed the highest trees, etc. You wonder sometimes how they make it. Oh, and I wanted to tell you, Cincy was a pleasure as always - NOT! ROFLOL....We got to the bridge at 3:00 pm and it was standstill traffic until we were north of Sharonville. Whew!, I've been down in the hills too long.

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

I thought the same thing, GL..........beautiful, Vic!!
