Post your IE version here - for photo problem

Let's see if there's anything in common with people that have the trouble. To find out what version you have, open Internet Explorer, click on HELP, click on ABOUT INTERNET EXPLORER. You'll see a box pop up and it'll say what version you have.

Also, post your operating system as well. Are you using Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, NT or XP?...or any other operating system...but I think it's limited to Microsoft so far.

I'm on Windows XP, IE version 6 (I have applied ALL of the latest patches and updates from www.windowsupdate.microsoft.com )

Whiterose...was it only happening with IE...or did it also happen with Netscape? (by the way, you should get the latest version of Netscape if you use it often...it's much better than version 4 and I think it'll fix some issues for you...not necessarily refering to this problem)

Could it be a virus problem? Sounds like something similar that happened to me. I've had no problems here.

This is where I went to get fixed, the people are great!

Windows 98...IE 5.5

hczone6 -- I discovered that it happens with both IE and Netscape, and there is no discernible pattern. Last night I switched from IE to NS as an experiment, and NS worked perfectly -- for a little while. Then the same things started happening. To be fair, though, my ISP no longer actively supports NS and I have had a lot of javascript-related problems with my home page and e-mail, so a "diagnostic" on this end would probably be unrevealing. Also, Zany detailed some of the problems people are having with photo downloads, and mine sound minor in comparison (in the same "family" of problems, but not as severe). Thank you so much for your advice about upgrading my Netscape version.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

I have Win2K, IE 5. Was able to clear my history, temp web pages, and reboot to get rid of the problem. (However, it started up again when trying to view some afore-mentioned threads.) When that happened I rebooted and all is well.
(PS...I also have Windows 98 on this system so can do a check if need be. I really don't think it's the OS tho.)

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

XP IE 6.0 here.

I missed something, what's the problem? I just got this computer so I don't have all the updates yet.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Win 98 and IE 6.0 here...no problems until I clicked on the first hyperlink to ecobangie's image which didn't load properly. No other images after that until we rebooted.
