Happy Easter!!

Hillsboro, OR(Zone 8a)

Good Morning and Happy Easter!
I am a brand new daves garden joinee! I've never even participated in an on line forum before, so I'm pretty excited.
I am also a very amatuer gardener with many questions. Well, my husband just hid the eggs! Better go wake up the kids! Be talkin' to ya!

Welcome to DG, Tallen62, and may you and your family members and loved ones have a Happy Easter, as well!

Happy Easter and welcome to DG.

Thanks for the replies and thanks for the good wishes. The kids have found all of the eggs and even ate one so that they can now eat some CANDY!!!!! What fun. Hey, I've been trying to add davesgarden to my contact list for e mail but can't figure out the proper e mail address... I am kinda new at this stuff. Can anyone help?

Welcome Tallen,

I hope you have plenty of free time, cause this place is so darn friendly and you will find that you will spend lots of time here. You will/can learn alot about gardening here and if there is anything you want to know, just ask, even if you think it's silly. You might want to hop on over to the Welcome Mat forum and introduce yourself there, that's where most people go to see and welcome the newbies. Then go to the Computer Help forum and ask for help with your email question. There are some real knowledgable people over there.

I hope you and your family have a nice Easter....sure miss having small children at Easter time...no eggs to hide anymore, boo hoo.

Welcome, Tallen62,to an another Oregonian. I am southeast of you out on the farm east of Mt. Angel. There are more NWesterners finding about Dave's all the time. This is great. As Donna says this place is so addictive cause the people are very kind. Joann

Thanks Joann-
It's beautiful up your way... Thanks for the add-on advice about dipping the cuttings. I know I'm a dork but do you all just mean to then put the cuttings in regular potting soil? Or is it like a peat moss/vermiculite blend? Don't know these things... Thanks, Tamara

Actually Tamara, I use pumice as the medium I stick my cuttings in.
