Not answering emails until Saturday

Just wanted to let you all know that if I don't answer emails for a couple of days it is because my husband has been activated and will be leaving for over seas on Friday. Have tons to do and no time to answer emails until probably Saturday. Please bear with me in this difficult time for our family. I will get back to you, it is just going to take me a while.

YES! I did get the birthday card. I am sorry it has taken me so long to say this but Thank you so much. I was in the hopsital for about 5 days in the middle of Feb. and not until the end of March did I finally get over everything. Had to be sick on my Birthday and everything.

After a lot of convincing, the Navy agreed to allow Gary to delay his departure until Monday. I think it had something to do with the fact that they didn't give us enough time to get all the paperwork done, LOL. They notified him Wednesday, We spent the entire day Thursday (7am-6pm) running around on base getting everything he needed from supply, getting a will and power of attorney drawn up at the lawyers office, medical and dental exams for Gary, paperwork for insurance, paperwork, paperwork, and a little more paperwork and still we didn't get it all done. Since everything was closed today, they had to give him an extension and his plane won't leave until Monday at noon.
I am thankful for the extra time I have been given with my husband. I think it will help the childern adjust a little better, having a few extra days to realize that he won't be comming home for a while.
