What a nice way to honor your Mom Donna! I guess Ruth was a popular girls name way back when. I do not think I have heard of a girl called that in years. My Mom's name is Ruth Ann.

Hope you are mending well Jim!

Jim, I'm glad someone bumped this and I got around to enough forums to see it. I join the rest in wishing you a speedy and uncomplicated recovery. How long will it take to be reasonably healed? I urge you not to rush it. And I totally sympathize with you in the limitations this imposes.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I did get my son to till 3 areas for me. Put in a bed of lilies and two beds of day lilies. I wish I could get some of the brugs in the ground but might have to be content with a lot of potted brugs this year. Arlene I have missed you posting and was intending to post if any one knew if you were alright. The mantis is going from household to household. The son after tilling my beds put in a vegetable garden and another son tilled part of a slope and laid sod. Worked great.
Aimee the doctor said it would be 6-7 weeks the last time I was there. Also found I had three breaks instead of two. I don't remember any one telling me about the third break. I guess the doctor thought the emergency room had told me. I had a lot of swelling in the arm Wednesday but it appears it has improved since then. Still having a lot of pain but trying to use pain meds only when I have to. The medicine I am on is habit forming and that is a concern. Thanks again everyone. Jim
