Sue, great that you are here too *lol* I am looking forwards to see you post pictures as well. I can still remember that time when your versicolor got those brown marks and you worried about it and the fruit and Monika told you that it needed a little more warm. *lol* What became of the fruit? Did it ripe? Well, I rather ask, how went your Birthday and congrats on your new computer.
Mr. Bond is back again ... or?
The pods dropped... as most of my pods did. I managed to collect a few but it seemed like all the good crosses fell off before they matured. I'm hoping this year I'll be able to pollinate earlier in the season and they'll hang on! B-day was great and the new puter is **SWELL** :o]. Seems odd not to freeze up every 5 minutes!
Beautiful and breathtaking, need I say more? Tonny we missed you!!
Not,yet.
I am sorry to hear that the pod was lost, Sue. Sometimes Brugs do that. I will se if I can find some info on how to make the Brugs feeling happy about keeping them attached. No, better yet. I think Cala is the one that could come up with an answer. I miss having her here right now. Last year she was really funny *lol* She had all those pods coming and it was a night mare for her not to peek inside the fruits to see, how the seeds were doing *lol* Some of them had to be sealed again with grafting gum and stuff :) It must be wonderful not to have a freezing computer. Must be a Dell. Thomas girlfriend, Astrid is crazy with Dell as well and she provided Lene with an excellent keyboard. That os quite different stuff from that onion hacking board that I am used to *lol*
Laurrie, thanks :D Great that you have an eye for beauty too *lol* Did you find out more about Herrenhauser Garten? Usually people report that this one refuse to bloom. It can have overly many buds, but suddenly all of them fall off again. HG was imported once from Germany as I recall. There is another, no maybe three fine German alternative now and I hope that US importers will have their eyes opened to their rare beauty and abillity to bloom.

Colie, I wish I was on the right side of the pond to ad to your collection. Its soon spring everywhere and I would love if someone would send you a piece for a good start of the season. :)
Thank you Tonny!!
With fingers crossed-maybe,some folks here will share with me.
Tonny, 'Pink Perfektion'wants to come and live in California ASAP! LOL
Maybe Cala will come back, you did! Help me work on her! She is so generous of spirit, we need her here.
Colie, I hope they will. When I joined for the first time (long since tho) we had Eric, Cala and Kyle + many others spending half of their lives here. They was the driving forces and you could not imagine the spirit of generousity you would be met with and the lifting spirit. You could get out of the bed one morning feeling blue about everything, but after just five minutes spend in this very forum you could log out again feeling that the world was perfect.
Kell, Yes, Its perfect, ain`t it. What is it particular you like about it :) ?
I agree that Cala is very much missed and I will help you the best that I can. The two of us in combination simply can not fail *lol*
LOL...It's such a coincidence...I only read one of Callas postings on the ABADS forums this morning and she said that some of her seeds were germinating in their pods even before the pod showed any signs of ripening.
And so guess what I did? I immediately ran up to the green house and put a slit in some of my pods to take a peek.LOLOL Wait till I get my hands on her..LOL
*lol*lol*lol* Was there any rooting in there *lol* No, but I have read that sanguinea has that habit if you don`t collect the fruits after the nine months *lol* Next fall I will put pots directly under the Brugs to have them to dump the fruits directly in the pots with ready-to-go seedlings *lol*lol*
Oh Bruno, I'm a bad influence. I hope it was a teeny little cut and not a big hole. I will have to teach you the fine art of peeking into seedpods!
LOL Tonny, I guess we did great! LOL
Whew!!!! I was holding my breath till you all came back!! Glad to see this 'reunion' and now let's get on with helping eachother, making friends and growing beautiful brugs.
ps-we missed you
LOL...I'm glad i did cause all the seeds were allready starting to turn brown! As an experiment i filled up an unimportant pod with rooting hormone liquid LOL...I know..i'm crazy! LOL
Just when I think I have figured out how to pollinate, y'all start growing brugs in their pods! My oh my, I have a lot to learn!
Roz, if only we could do that it sure would make our life easier! LOL!
Kell, I owe you a rosegarden *lol*
Cala, I just love your influence, good or bad *lol* If you weren`t doing all these experiments and sharing results we would all be very poor in our understanding of Brugs :) Do you remember the Acnistus? Its building up to its first flowers now. Does they come in flushes like the versicolors? There has been two half out the buds for close to a week and its like they stagnated in that size, but all the small buds are still growing? I can`t wait to see this one in bloom and the color as it appears now is more beautiful than the specimen I saw growing in Copenhagen bot. gard.
Bruno, excellent!!! You and Cala is doing pure science *lol* Asking without exspecting any particular answer, but truely wait and see, what nature has to teach.
Roz and Kell, I think growing them as we used to is the easist way, but I maust also admit that when I started straying a bit away from the commonly thought best way to grow sanguineas these made arborea`s look like pure problem childs *lol*
Tonny, the acnistus seems to start out with a bud or two, build up to full bloom, rest a while and then bloom again. I added a few to the database today. I hope you got that nice blue one.
Calalily, I have to thank you over and over again. You have been a good friend to me and I appreciate all you have done for daves. Also the contributions you have made to the PDB are more than anyone could hope for. They are wonderful, thank you.
Thanks Tonny,
I have set aside your "goodies" until the weather warms up. It looks more like Christmas here then it does spring with all the snow. I look forward to your package arriving.
My grand daughter is over her pneumonia and is going back to school on Monday. One of the parents of a child in her class says half the children are sick with the same thing. Flu like symptoms, violent head aches, fever and a really wicked cough. I still have the cough though, but I'm better than I was. Even my doctor's office is closed as all her staff are sick with the same virus.
Oh how I long for spring to come!!
tonny-and-lene, I guess i must have come to DG after you had gone for awile as I don't remember seeing your names. I really learn a lot from DG and enjoy all the messages. So will be nice to learn to know you. Your sunrise or sunset picture very pretty. I see nice sunrises here too. Donna
This is great!!!! Susie and Tonny posting with us again. If you only knew how much the both of you were missed, you would never take such a long break again. Bruno, it is good to see you posting more.
I agree with Frannie!!!!!

Bruno, you are the best *lol* Thanks a hundred times for staying :D I don`t know what we would do without you.
Really Bruno............ I am glad you resubscribed. You add so much to the discussion. If so many leave here, it will not be fun at all! I am working on others who want to quit. This site has room enough for all of us!
PS: Someone else that left awhile back may be coming back!
