Need a slogan

Right now, we have 7 different slogans for the site, and they are randomly shown each time you load a page. I'd like to settle on one. I'd want it to be representative of who we are and what we're doing.

The ones that we currently have in the cycle are:

Gardening in the 21st Century
A seed is a promise
Restoring Order to the Gardening Community
The New Way to Garden
I can always count on those who are close to the soil
Digital Gardening for the Digital Age
The Smart Way to Garden

Does anyone have any new ones they'd like to throw in? I'd like to settle on one soon so we can have our own slogan - just one.

I don't have one, but like "a seed is a promise" and "i can always count on those who are close to the soil".

Does anyone have ideas for a slogan that isn't already in the list?

the slogan should define the site - what are we trying to do? What are our goals and our future plans? The slogan should describe this in less than 10 words.

What about....
"Dave's Garden...Making a difference in the Garden Community" ???

I can't think of wording, but it should be something about being the only place to find all you need (lists, trading, more info than anywhere else). This isn't a good one but something to the effect of the one-stop gardening page.

Can not go with flower power...I think that is ICQ's slogan.

I like kimdc's idea too, except I think it should say 'Dave's Garden' instead of just 'Dave's'. Or...something like:

I do like "Buliding a better path for gardeners". And Kimdc's too.

I likd AuntyB's #4 and 5 suggestions. This is really going to be hard to choose. You guys are coming up with some good stuff!!

I like this train of thought. It really nicely defines the underlying objective of our ambitions.

The idea of many gardeners coming together to become a single source of information is very cool.

From many grows one.

You could post several of your favorites and we could all vote...that would be fun...but I sort of like what you have now...several different ones...you could add more as you come across them...sort of like a quote of the day thing. I like those and people notice new...they sort of ignore something that's been there awhile...it would give us something new to look at...especially if you get Aunty B to write them...we could even pitch in and help buy her coffee.

How about: "Dave's Garden - A place to reap what you sow"

That's actually a good name for the site, rather than a slogan.

I want to change the name of the site sometime soon, but that comes after the slogan, I guess.

Hey! I happen to LIKE the name DAVE'S GARDEN!!! Why you thinkin bout changin it, Dave? Dave's Garden sounds more on a 'personal' level for people....like where friends gather or something. I think I'm going to cry.......

Here's what I see is wrong with the name Dave's Garden:

This is not really "my" garden here. This is everybody's garden. I use it just as much as anyone else here.

I don't think it's really fair to go around calling it "my garden" because it's not.

I wish I could call it "our garden" but that name is already taken.

Shrug. Hope this explains a bit, though. :)
