I had the privilege of meeting another great DG member yesterday. I had lunch with Dayflower, her DH and darling grandson. She is a charning lady from deep in the South. (Louisiana) She is a daylily expert and I have been asking her advice about daylilies for quite a while now. I could sense from our emails that she was a lady of great charm and knowledge and I was not disappointed. Thanks to DG I now have another SPECIAL FRIEND.

How fun! DG has brought so many good people together in friendship, and it's wonderful when they actually get to meet in the physical, and not just the cyber, world. Here's a toast to you and Dayflower enjoying many years of beautiful friendship!

Here I sit red-faced and embarrased. I am so sorry that I forgot meeting you. I probably know your face though. There were so many there and I didn't get a chance to really get to know everyone. It was so hot and I got there in pretty bad shape (fibromyalgia flare up) so I wasn't able to get around and meet everyone like I had planned. I will attempt to remedy that with you if we ever get a chance to meet again. I must go and look for that great picture that Kim took of us all together. She put all the names of our attendees somewhere in that Roundup thread.
