Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

I named my 3 boys...

Cody Vance
Casey Wade
Jessy Ray

I like Levi and Dalton.

Mcallen, TX(Zone 8a)

Evan.....

We named our son two family names Joseph Eduardo

My Dad (cajun) was Orige Joseph, but I didnt wanna name my chidl anything difficult or that could be turned into a
teasing name. So although husband loved the unusualness of
Orige, I voted it down....

You also need to sound it out witht hte last name to see
how it sounds, and look at the initals in total to be sure they dont spell something unsavory

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

OH boy I havent decide.. I already wrote the names down.. DH dont know what he likes! He said he dont have good mind for the names.. His mind's too busy with house building.. LOL..

So far I Like Micah.. Tanner.. Seth.. I am still thinking for more names ...

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

We have a lonnnnnngggg last name so we named our son Eric John _____ . None of his classmates ever figured out an unsavory nickname for his first name. :)

I too like to put the name with the last name and see how it rolls off the tongue. Also I can't handle long names as they take too long when you need the kid to listen in a life threatening situation.

Good luck. Lani

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

We named our son Jaden William.

I have a relative who named her sons Malachi and Micah from books of the bible.

I also like the name Landon.

"down the Shore", NJ(Zone 7a)

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

He's preoccupied with house-building, eh? He'll give you names like

(Black &) Decker (actually, that's kind of a cool name, Decker)

You might wanna have a long or unusual middle name so when you REALLY want his attention, you can rattle off his whole
long name. Believe me, he will know he is in DEEP stuff!

Are you against nicknames?

"down the Shore", NJ(Zone 7a)

Jacob, Isaac, Abraham...

Dayton, OH(Zone 5a)

I like nature type names like Stone. How about Micah Stone? A single syllable middle name also makes the name flow nicely and gives it such a solid nature for a young man...

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

Our boys are
Brett Lester
Elliot James
Jason Robert

Poor Brett HATES his middle name, actually I'm not too fond of it either, but it was Spouse's dad's name and also Spouse's middle name. I told Brett he didn't have to use it, and if he hated it that bad he could change it. I was kind of badgered into using it, since Spouse's dad died when Spouse was still in high school. WE tried calling Elliot EJ when he was little, but we were informed in no uncertain terms that "My name is ELLIOT!!!!!!!" Jason was "Jason Bobby" on occasion, but not anymore since he is almost 25. :>)

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I like Elliott, too. Our Siamese cat's name is Elliott. :)

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

I know what book Pardacanda has been reading. :) We always liked Austin for a boy but then everyone started using it. So, five girls later, we haven't had to worry about it. LOL I do like Tanner, Hunter and Micah.

Well.. that names Micah, Tanner is crossed out! DH doesnt like those names.. Grrrr We are narrow to Seth. We like Seth better.. BUt we might have few more names to think of... The middle probably going to be Russell or James. Russell was my father's name. James is his middle name too.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Oh really... Seth are pretty name too so it will be easy for you speak his name short so, we will wait until you and your husband decide find the name for sure... LMK so you and DH have plenty of time to choose. =)

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

I have a dear friend who is named Trev. Not Trevor, just Trev. I like that name for a guy. Strong and different.

Naming a baby is such fun and sometimes you think you have a name all picked out and when you see the little one, you change your mind once again. LOL

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

i know a boy named trevin not trevor!
i like seth james

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Ha notmartha so Mini and I talking little while ago so she said maybe put Seth James not sure yet. =)

New York City, NY(Zone 6b)

I'm kinda partial to Xerxes.

On the other hand, if this is your first~born child..., a son..., and the father is as egotistical as my own..., you could always name him...,

Adam.

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

I had one child and almost named him Alpha Omega.....the first and the last!

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Xercees? I beleive a name is a very personal thing, and one that will help contribute to the character of the human statis.
