A baby update

Today we went to our doctor, so I thought I would share our findings for those of you who wanted a little more info before making your guesses :)

My cycle was very irregular, so it is extremely difficult to pinpoint a due date. I am between 12-16 weeks along. The 12 week along number would put the date at Sept 22.

The doctor (and I) feel that I am closer to 16 weeks along (measurements indicate this is possible), pushing the date up to more like the beginning of Sept.

An encouraging word to those of you who guessed end of Aug...I have a history of going 2 weeks early. However, seeing as how we have a 4 week possible date, and my history of going early- its anyone's guess!! :)

I want to thank all of my DG friends for your excitement over our newest blessing!! We are thrilled to be able to share our joy with all of you!!

Hi Trish! There is a full moon on August 27 and September 10 so maybe you will go either of those days. We have a daughter whose birthday is September 3 which was her due date. There was a full moon on the 4th that year. By the time I came home from the hospital, the nursery was packed and full from all the newborn babies. Not sure what it is that the full moon does but there are certainly a lot of women that go into labor around that time. I hope you are feeling good. Our youngest daughter is due June 3 and she sends me the coolest updates each week from a website. Not sure of the website address but each week it starts out:

I am "x number of weeks" pregnant. She is now 28 weeks but it goes on to tell all about what is happening to her as well as what is growing on the baby and how long, etc. the baby is. It's really cool. Grandma vic loves getting her weekly updates. According to this week, baby's eyes are opening and she even has eyelashes now. I can't wait to see her in person :-) Take care!

Trish, how exciting for you and Dave. I am thrilled for both of you and will rejoice along with you at the birth of your little one, whenever it occurs! God bless you.

I think it's a great report! This means all is going according to plan, right? And both baby and Mom are doing well! Yay!

P.S. as for those guess's on date's I say Aug 23 for the 12 week guess and Sept. 24 for the 16 week one!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations :) Lots and lots of babies due now at the Garden. I am trying really really hard to rein in my odd sense of humor, so I will just say that I pray your baby arrives safe and healthy and is a blessing to you both for the rest of your lives.
