Wanted to say hello from OH

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Would you post some pics of yours Bruno? I have never seen a cinnamon one. I sometimes feel very bad about having mine, I wish he had a more normal life for a bird. Yours sound like they do!

Yeah, sure Kell! If it's still bright when I get home this evening I'll take a photo of the Cinnamon Female and the others aswell. Her names Delhi(India) and the Blue male's name is Mulu(Africa). Delhi is the least tame out of them all but maybe that's why she makes such an excellent mother! I hope I can get close enough to take a good picture!

Best wishes,

Bruno

Great Bruno, would love to see some pics too!

I'm afraid it's too dark now to take a photo of my four feathered friends :o( But luckily I found a photo I took of Mommy and Daddy last year!

Oh yeah!!!!!...I nearly forgot to tell you guys! Delhi laid another egg! It's kinda exciting to see how many she'll lay. It was her first time last year and she laid four!

Anyway, I'll talk to you guys later and I hope you like the photo! Sorry they're so far away :o)

Best wishes always,

Bruno

very lovely couple! so cinnamon is yellow colored, Bruno?

I too, thought cinnamon would be red. Looks like my yellow canary. Cuties.

In Cinnamons, every part of the bird that is supposed to contain black pigment becomes fawn brown! Without the hidden black colour in the feathers, the feathers appear a very light green/ yellow! Their feet are lighter coloured too :o)
