when talking about Dave's how do you refer to it.......

i always say on my website, on my garden website, i guess i feel so much at home here i just refer to it as my website.

I sort of do the same thing, depending on the listener. I say "on Dave's" to my family, because they all know where I spend my time. To someone not familiar, though, I say "the garden site I visit frequently". To someone who has some knowledge of my habits but not a lot, I say "my garden site". And to some people, I just say "on the net".

Of course, DW says "what are you doing?". When I say "Watching Dave's Garden". She wanders off like i'm skipping stones on the pond. She's right, I won't swear here, talk politics, or even think much beyond chlorophyll. Dave's is close to ZEN. Frank

When talking to any family member, I just say DG, but when talking to others, it's my "computer garden site".

This afternoon my DH surprised me while I was up on a ladder painting. He came into the room to give me a soda and said "do you realize that you are missing Chat right now". I asked him how he remembered and he said "Tuesday night is Chat, I know that". lol Sorry I missed chat tonight all, wanted to be there but had to finish painting the walls.

Around here we actually refer to it as "Dave's Garden". It's funny when I call it Dave's Garden. You'd think I'd call it "My Garden" but I don't...

Daves or DG. I only talk to people that know what it is already :) I'd say I need a life, but have a great one, so I'll keep it like it is.

When talking to those unfamiliar with it, I say "Dave's Garden - a gardening website I practically live at". Around the house and with friends/family, just DG.

When talking to someone that doesn't know this place, I usually say Dave's Garden....its this web site I go to all the time.
When talking to family, I usually say Dave's Garden...you know that website I go on all the time?! LOL Dh usually says...yes I know I know Dave's Garden that place you spend all day at! LOL

I usually refer to it as "My Garden Club"..lol

dave i didn't know you and trish moved. i have been to kerrville once in the late 80's. it was a beautiful town then so I know it must be now.

My webpage says "Once you've been to Dave's Garden, you won't go anywhere else"!

Waaaay back when I first joined and was so excited about finding this website, I always referred to it as DG or Daves Garden and still do. But I can remember people or family saying, "What's DG or who is Daves Garden". They don't ask anymore....they know LOL...
