Wow - just heard this on the news - Opra Winfrey was found dead today - Too bad, I really liked her as so many millions did.


Have been searching other places - did anyone else hear this or am I nutz!

Oprah Winfrey's Half Sister Found Dead

NEW BERLIN, Wis. (AP) - A half sister of Oprah Winfrey was found dead at her
suburban Milwaukee home.

The body of Patricia Lloyd, 43, was discovered by her husband, Kenny, early
Wednesday, Lt. David Dunn said.

Dunn said the cause of death was not immediately known.

``We are looking at anything possible, but right now we don't think there is
any type of criminal activity,'' he said.

Azalea, My DIL called me about 11:15 Friday night and told me she haeard the same thing. I turned on the news and couldn't find it any where. You and she must have been on the same station. Jim

Thanks Jim - I felt really stupid after I posted this and sent out emails to several friends - then my neighbor corrected me! I even went to her site and couldn't find anything on it.

I rarely see any news except what is on my ISP home page when I go online. The headline there said it was her half sister, so I already knew about it when I saw this thread. But I would have been horrified if I hadn't already seen that. Oprah fascinates me, has since the great performance she gave in Color Purple. Not a perfect woman, not a flawless human, just a fascinating and beautiful woman. I am happy she is still with us.
