I got such a lovely catalog from them today and I do wish to order a bunch of seeds. Anyone order from them recently?
Theres no mention on their mailing order about that phyto dealy or how much extra I have to pay. Wondered.
Ordering from Plants of Distinction?
Well, they have two positive comments in the Watchdog: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/293/ - and one of them is from Baa. She might not be able to help answer the phyto question, though...
I've just had a look in the back of my catalogue and it says
'Foreign orders: Seeds can be sent worldwide however a £1 surcharge will be levied. Plants available to EU customers only'
You can also send them an email, they usually answer in a few working days.
I didn't notice that! I don't think thats too bad. Whats a pound, about $1.70 or so? I'm going to do it! Thanks so much, Baa. They've got such neat stuff! Doris
More importantly, they usually germinate but you may have to look the plant up on google for detailed sowing instructions.
I've ordered from Chiltern's the past couple of years and they don't require a phyto. I've gotten my orders without any hassles. I spose it's your own risk if they should be confiscated.
