Good to be home

Well gang sure good to have the internet back but even better to have my water and electric back. My electric came back on today and my water came back on Sunday night. The phones just came on a little bit ago so I can get back online.Not sure how long they will stay on lots of people still have no power. And we are getting another freezing rain tonight. So will enjoy it for as long as it last. Thanks everybody for your thoughts and prayers and all of you that have kept me company on my cell phone. Sure glad I had it. Sure missed this place and all of you.

TiG we where one of the lucky ones. I have a kerosene heater so we could heat part of the house. But my kids went to my moms to stay.

Aimee it stayed up pretty good. It did go down but I recharged it at work Monday and Tues and it pretty much made it through the night. I decided a charger for my car is an investment I need to make. Ah Aimee I didn't see any use having everybody all worried. Thanks everybody it really is good to be back.

Mystic, please promise me you will get one of the car chargers! It's critical. If you were stranded in your car, you would be safer with a means of communication. Those cig lighter chargers are about $10 at convenience stores here, so I know they're affordable. I mentioned it to my son after leaving in a hurry and forgetting to charge my cell phone he insists I carry at his expense. I had an ear bud I didn't use, so he traded my the car thing for the bud. And it had a price tag on it. He just popped into a store and saw one and grabbed it, didn't shop the price. We don't have heavy snows here, so I need one far less than you do. Tomorrow is the latest I will accept, get it!

How wonderful that you are back and have your utilities again! What a horrible storm. Thank God that you and your family and all your critters are fine and that your heater held up.

Aimee well I did try to get one today but they are out of course, just like batteries and flashlights etc. None to be found. But I will get one soon. Hey there Kell I didn't think they let you out of the brug forum..lol I knew I could count on your for a song! Whiterose the critters did just fine they really couldn't figure out what was going on.
